Uniquely situated on the quiet and green Margaret Island, the modern Danubius Health Spa Resort offers you a relaxing stay in the heart of Budapest. Guests can use the spa area free of charge.
Guests can enjoy free coffee and a croissant in the morning. In the Platán restaurant with its terrace you can enjoy gourmet and light cuisine together with magnificent views of the park. The Café Kamilla with a terrace, the lobby bar and the Neptun bar at the swimming pool are inviting places to have a nice chat over your favourite drink.
Guests can benefit from an indoor and outdoor pool and a large spa area. A spa bath, a sauna and a fitness centre are on site. Various beauty and body treatments are also offered.
All rooms are air-conditioned and have a balcony. A work desk, satellite TV and bathrobes are also provided.
You can park your car for free on site.
Area information
The natural environment makes the picturesque Margaret Island an ideal spa resort. The air is clean and 100 years-old trees protect from dust and reduce temperature extremes as well. The springs on Margaret Island are rich in minerals therefore they are widely used in medical treatments.
In July and August there are open-air theatre performances on the island.
Travel information
When arriving by car please note that cars can only access the island from Árpád Bridge!
